Loyalty and Love

Loyalty and love, just two words

Or are they just two words
With no concern
From anyone around us
There is no justice

Love is a battlefield
Love is war
Nowadays it seems like
No one’s worth fighting for

Loyalty is dead
Or at least it seems
Guys with a wife, girlfriend, and mistress in between
I want a guy to prove me wrong
A guy to love and be so strong

I’m hanging on to the hope
I’m hanging on to the tale
If love and loyalty are in the game
And all else fails
We’ll still have each other
Our love will prevail
